Job Title: Residential Property Administrator

Job Type: Permanent – Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Property Administrator to join our team at Bevertec. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with residents and property managers to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Analyze and update monthly Management Reports for each property, working closely with property accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure electronic filing of all relevant documents and distribute reports to clients on a weekly basis.
  • Process applications, conduct employment verification, landlord reference checks, and credit checks, and set up approved leases and resident information in Yardi.
  • Post monthly move-ins, put tenants on notice, and arrange new tenant hydro accounts.
  • Collect, sort, process, and enter rental payments in Yardi, and set up PAP for tenants.
  • Post NSF payments, issue N4's – Notice of termination for non-payment of rent, and prepare bank deposits and ensure proper filing of receipts.
  • Issue other legal forms (N5, N6, N7) and ensure legal notices are filed with the Paralegal in a timely manner (L1, L2).
  • Enforce LTB orders with the enforcement office and prepare collection files for past tenants.
  • Run monthly rent billings in Yardi, verify accuracy, and post monthly billing.
  • Prepare N1's – Notice of Rent Increase and annual tax receipts.
  • Provide technical support for tenants and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School diploma (Grade 12/13)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in leasing and property administration
  • Experience using Property Management Software such as Yardi is a must
  • Experience working with forms: (N5, N6, N7)
  • Solid working knowledge of residential property administration.
  • Strong computer skills: Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook, and able to learn Yardi Voyager and Property Vista.
