Job Description for Materials Procurement Specialist

Incredible construction ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional who can effectively manage our purchasing operations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials and equipment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with suppliers, develop specifications, and review quotations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services from suppliers
  2. Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
  3. Negotiate offers from suppliers
  4. Consult with suppliers on procurement requirements
  5. Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions
  6. Contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • At least 7 months of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
