About the Job:

DBA CLAY-NOR Lawn & Garden is seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our landscape maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage and ensure a professional appearance.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured look.
  • Cut grass to the required height and maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and organized.
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as required.
  • Lay sod or seed to ensure a lush and vibrant lawn.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of work completed.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Remove trees as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves are required.
  • Cellular phone for communication purposes.
