CLAY-NOR Lawn & Garden is seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' lawns and gardens.
Key Responsibilities:- Tie and secure plants to ensure they remain healthy and secure.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their shape and promote growth.
- Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
- Rake and collect refuse to keep our work areas clean and organized.
- Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to promote healthy plant growth.
- Lay sod or seed to create lush, green lawns.
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and beauty to our clients' outdoor spaces.
- Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
- Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
- Write daily basic progress reports to keep our team informed of our progress.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they remain healthy and thriving.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
- Tree removal to ensure our clients' outdoor spaces remain safe and healthy.
- Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish between colors to ensure accurate work.
- Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks that require flexibility.
