Job Title: Landscape Maintenance Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team at DBA CLAY-NOR Lawn & Garden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tie and secure plants to ensure they are stable and secure
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure our spaces are safe and clean
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to maintain our outdoor spaces
  • Lay sod or seed to ensure our lawns are healthy and well-maintained
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and beauty to our outdoor spaces
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep our team informed
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they are healthy and well-maintained
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it is in good working order
  • Remove trees to ensure our outdoor spaces are safe and clean

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to use manual dexterity
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to use hand-eye coordination

  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
