About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Senior Occupational Hygienist to join our team at LMDG Building Code Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing, developing, and documenting approaches to building code compliance in Fire Protection and Life Safety Building Code reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review drawings, reports, and conduct research to identify building code issues and develop approaches to demonstrate compliance
  • Develop and document performance-based approaches and code compliance drawings
  • Attend project meetings, conduct site visits, and field reviews
  • Assist on Certified Professional and other projects

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or post-secondary education and equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a Building Code Consulting Role
  • Current knowledge of Building Codes and related standards
  • Experience in engaging with AEC project teams throughout all stages of design and construction
  • Experience in developing and enhancing working relationships with clients and industry professionals in both public and private sectors
  • Valid driver's license
Work Environment
