Job Title: Bilingual Insurance Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Insurance Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Direct to Consumer Distribution channel, you will play a crucial role in providing insurance solutions to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Quote and sell insurance home and auto policies
  • Assist new customers with their home and auto insurance needs
  • Service existing customers by updating their policies or meeting their changing needs
  • Drive strong customer retention by delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Underwrite new business, policy endorsements, and renewals by obtaining necessary information from customers
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
  • College diploma or university degree
  • Sales and customer service experience (mandatory)
  • OTL licensed or RIBO licensed (an asset)
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused and able to match products to customer needs
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
  • Insurance sales/service underwriting experience (an asset)
  • Actively working towards CIP or FCIP designation (an asset)
