Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Assistant Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales, managing store operations, and leading a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales growth through effective sales strategies, budget management, and sales forecasting.
  2. Create and implement operational plans, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to ensure optimal store conditions and customer satisfaction.
  3. Execute and monitor asset protection and safety controls, maintain quality assurance standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Serve customers as an ambassador for our store, resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Support store initiatives to serve the community, participate in community events, and develop relationships with key community groups.
  6. Lead associates by conducting regular store meetings, communicating operational direction, and providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
  7. Demonstrate company values by holding associates accountable for performance and providing timely, honest, and respectful feedback.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of retail operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
