Front End Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Assistant Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales, managing store operations, and leading a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Drive profitable sales through achievement of sales and profit goals, budget management, and sales forecasts.
- Create operational plans, prioritize tasks, and provide clear direction to managers and associates to ensure optimal store conditions.
- Execute and monitor asset protection and safety controls, maintain quality assurance standards, and oversee safety and operational reviews.
- Serve customers as an ambassador for the store by greeting customers, seeking feedback, and resolving customer needs and issues.
- Support store initiatives to serve the community by participating in and supporting community events and developing relationships with key community groups.
- Lead associates by conducting regular store meetings, communicating operational direction, and driving engagement and recognition.
- Demonstrate company values by holding associates accountable through timely, honest, specific, and respectful performance feedback and corrective action.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of store operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
