Fengate Asset Management is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our high-performing team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering innovative learning programs that support the growth and development of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Deliver Engaging Training Programs: Develop and implement effective training programs that cater to the diverse needs of our employees, using a range of learning methods, including instructor-led, eLearning, job aids, virtual, assessments, and infographics.
- Conduct Needs Analysis and Prioritize Training Needs: Conduct thorough needs analysis surveys to identify training gaps and prioritize training needs for individuals across all Firm roles, ensuring that our employees have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to support the creation of high-quality content and ensure that our training programs are aligned with our strategic goals.
- Apply Creative Thinking and Change Management Principles: Use creative thinking and change management principles to develop innovative solutions to problems and drive business results.
- Support the Sourcing and Implementation of Learning Management Systems: Collaborate with the HR team to source, implement, and maintain a Learning Management System, as well as other tools or platforms, to drive the execution of our strategic goals.
- Develop and Maintain a Strong Interpersonal Network: Foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging by developing and maintaining a strong interpersonal network within Fengate, as a culture champion of the HR team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, or Related Field: A degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field is required, with a post-secondary degree or diploma in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or the equivalent being an asset.
- 2-5 Years of Experience in Human Resources: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in human resources, with experience in learning and development, is required.
- Proven Knowledge and Application of Adult Learning Principles: Proven knowledge and application of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies are essential.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Experience Working in a Fast-Paced Environment: Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is required.
- Business Focus and Strategic Thinking: Display an understanding of Fengate's business and strategy, recognizing and reinforcing how Fengate differentiates itself in the marketplace.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Be approachable and supportive of team members, actively participating in team activities and projects.
- Driving for Results: Take initiative to manage your work and performance, consistently producing high-quality output.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Recognize challenges and opportunities, determining whether action is needed and prioritizing situations in terms of impact.
- Communication: Clearly, concisely, and directly communicate ideas, information, and directions both verbally and in writing.
