About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Director, Learning Partner. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner with business partners, subject matter experts, and learning teams to understand business goals and influence learning solutions that support short and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to determine need, scope, and required resources and propose learning tools, resources, and methodologies to deliver optimal solutions based on business needs.
  • Explore new technologies and provide feedback on capabilities to improve processes.
  • Gather and synthesize information to implement recommendations, gain stakeholder support, and influence solutions.
  • Manage consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Influence and implement actionable curriculum development, including planning, designing, developing, and outlining solutions to learning objectives.
  • Monitor, evaluate, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Lead planning and execution of projects and resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage, negotiate, and maintain vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Recommend structured methodologies and lead change management activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Eight years of experience in a learning and development environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with writing and developing learning resources.
  • Thorough knowledge of learning technologies, support systems, and methodologies.
  • Thorough knowledge of the business/personal insurance industry, product lines, and general understanding of enterprise processes, applications, and systems.
  • Experience leading and managing complex projects.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop team members in upskilling project management skills.
