About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position requiring 31-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be working in the employer's/client's home, providing companionship and personal care services.
Responsibilities- Assisting with daily living activities such as administering medication, bathing, dressing, and grooming;
- Providing companionship and social interaction to enhance the client's overall well-being;
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals, as well as shopping for groceries and household supplies;
- Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning tasks;
- Accompanying the client on outings and providing transportation as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field;
- Punctuality and reliability, with a strong commitment to meeting the needs of clients;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability;
- Physical stamina to perform the demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting heavy loads.
- A competitive salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience;
