Job Title: Trusted Household Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy household caregiver to join our family at Deanna Montour. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

About the Job:

This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to caring for our children in the absence of their parents. You will be responsible for managing the household, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shopping for food and supplies, and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties while on trips.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be organized, and have a high level of reliability and honesty. A vulnerable sector check will be required for this position.

Work Environment:

The work site environment is non-smoking, and the employer's home offers optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note that this is not a condition of employment.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This amount is based on industry standards and takes into account the requirements of the job, including the need for a trustworthy and reliable individual to care for our children.
