Ryder System is a leading logistics and transportation company that offers a wide range of job opportunities. We are currently seeking an experienced AZ Shuttle Truck Driver to join our team in London.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $24.19 per hour, which translates to approximately £20,000 - £25,000 per year based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks of work per year.

Job Description:

About the Position

This is a full-time opportunity that offers consistent work with a dedicated route and schedule. As an AZ Shuttle Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently between locations. This role requires a Class A driver's license and the ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • You will have a great lifestyle with consistent, full-time work, including home time every day.
  • No-touch freight handling means you won't need to physically load or unload cargo.
  • Your shifts will be dispatched between 3 am and 8 am in the mornings and 10 am to 1 pm in the afternoons.

What You Need to Succeed

To succeed as an AZ Shuttle Truck Driver, you must be able to follow written and/or oral instructions. You should also have the ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you'll need to detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.

Essential Functions:

Evaluate Job Responsibilities

The primary function of an AZ Shuttle Truck Driver is ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines. Additional responsibilities include detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs, and loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
