Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Compliance Officer with a passion for financial compliance and a knack for combatting financial crime. As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they seek a Compliance Officer to ensure their operations meet stringent regulatory standards while safeguarding the integrity of their services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new and existing customers to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor transactions and activities for suspicious behavior and potential money laundering risks.
  • Investigate and analyze unusual patterns, discrepancies, and financial anomalies to mitigate fraud and financial crime.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement and refine AML policies and procedures in line with regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to AML compliance efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in cryptocurrency-related financial compliance, particularly with AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FINTRAC (Canada) and AUSTRAC (Australia).
  • Knowledge of KYC software.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 (Junior level in Canada) to $120,000 (Senior level in Australia). This position offers a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
