We are looking for a Compliance Officer who is passionate about financial compliance and eager to help combat financial crime. In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring transactions, conducting due diligence, and ensuring adherence to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorism Financing) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new and existing customers to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor transactions and activities for suspicious behavior and potential money laundering risks.
  • Investigate and analyze unusual patterns, discrepancies, and financial anomalies to mitigate fraud and financial crime.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement and refine AML policies and procedures in line with regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to AML compliance efforts.
  • Stay informed on the latest regulatory developments and industry best practices in AML and CTF.


Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in cryptocurrency-related financial compliance, particularly with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations. Prior experience in crypto compliance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FINTRAC (Canada) and AUSTRAC (Australia).
  • Knowledge of KYC software.
  • Junior level in Canada (1-2 years experience, non-managerial); Senior level in Australia.
  • Must be able to conduct forensic analysis with minimal training.
