Customer Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at Ben's Building Materials Ltd. as a key member of our retail business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Resolve Product and Service Issues: Effectively resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Provide Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
- Coordinate Work: Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, reviewing work to ensure quality and productivity.
- Requisition Materials: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to support business operations.
- Perform Same Duties: Perform the same duties as workers supervised, demonstrating a willingness to roll up sleeves and support the team.
Our retail business operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will work closely with the management team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer service or retail management role.
- Work Setting: Retail business environment.
- Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
- Support for Indigenous People: Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
