About the Role:
At God's Hand Kitchen, we are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate special events and ensure seamless execution
- Determine food portion sizes and costs to optimize inventory and reduce waste
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demands
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer expectations
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitians or chefs
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Organize buffets and banquets to impress customers
- Manage kitchen operations to optimize efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
