Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at SHIMS CONVENIENCE & ESSO GAS STATION. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cash register and process sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide advice and recommendations to customers on products and services
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and inventory
  • Assist in visual merchandising and store displays
  • Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
