Job Title: Retail Salesperson

At SHIMS CONVENIENCE & ESSO GAS STATION, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cash registers and process sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering product recommendations to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and inventory levels.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing store.
  • Process returns and exchanges, resolving customer issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
