Job Overview

This is a senior leadership role at United Rentals, Inc. where you will oversee the operations of a major business enterprise as Branch Manager.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service, and profitability.
  2. Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives to drive growth and revenue.
  3. Prepare detailed reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, and yearly budgets.
  4. Lead personnel matters, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA requirements and DOT guidelines.
  6. Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation within the branch.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center.
  • Strong understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation.
  • Proven track record of sales and customer service excellence, with outside sales experience an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, motivational, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
