Project Overview:

Moving2Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Controls Specialist to work on major infrastructure projects in Vancouver. This role offers a competitive salary of $150,000+ and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in Project Controls, with a proven track record of delivering success on major infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Cost/Control System Development: Develop, establish, and maintain project cost/control systems to ensure accurate data for decision-making.
  • Project Schedule Management: Set up project schedules, monitor performance, and implement changes as needed to meet project goals.
  • Change Management: Coordinate change management processes, including monitoring and tracking changes on site and within systems.
  • Team Training and Support: Provide training and support to project teams on prescribed change management procedures and project controls systems.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze project controls reports, including progress and productivity, to suggest corrective actions and maintain expected performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of Project Controls experience on major projects
  • Proven track record of delivering Project Controls success on major infrastructure schemes
  • Experience in Design Build or P3 projects a plus
  • Experienced in working in Joint Ventures with international partners – Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Currently operating at senior level on a major project or in a large construction company
