Job Summary

The Claims Adjuster will be responsible for adjusting claims in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjust claims in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims to determine liability and extent of damage
  • Communicate with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to resolve claims
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize business development opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless claim handling
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements

  • BC Adjuster's license Level 2 required
  • University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in claims adjusting
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
