Job Title: Youth Clinician

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Youth Clinician to join our team in North Vancouver, BC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and individual, group, and family counselling services to children, youth, and families. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child and youth mental health and substance use, as well as experience working with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for youth with mental health and substance use issues.
  • Establish trust with youth and engage them in the treatment process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, school personnel, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, develop linkages with other facilities and agencies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Behavioural Sciences or Social Work.
  • Three years' recent experience providing counselling services, including two years' experience working with youth with mental health and substance use issues.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and ability to operate a personal vehicle.
