About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at JADE BUFFET OF CHINA RESTAURANT LTD. as a Kitchen Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers
    • Estimate food requirements and plan for efficient food preparation and service
  • Kitchen Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties efficiently
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and quality control in the kitchen
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all food handling and preparation procedures meet our standards
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies for the kitchen
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working order
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve our high standards of quality and service
    • Provide coaching and training to help staff develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
