About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at JADE BUFFET OF CHINA RESTAURANT LTD. as a Kitchen Operations Manager. This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Determine the size of food portions and costs
    • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Order supplies and equipment
  • Culinary Operations
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
    • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Team Support
    • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
    • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Youth Support
    • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
