Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join the Nurse Practitioners Professional Practice team.
As an Administrative Assistant with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will provide analytical support to the designated leadership, including data analysis, statistical reporting, and benchmarking activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide confidential administrative and secretarial assistance to the Executive Director or Director, as well as the designated senior leadership teams.
- Maintain the leadership appointment calendars, coordinate meetings, and process and prioritize the flow of information through the department.
- Work independently and interface with other Executive Directors, Directors, Managers, and staff at all levels of the organization.
- Effectively partner with other VCH departments, such as the Data and Analytics team, to coordinate the flow of information and keep senior leaders apprised of relevant issues and activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in a related program.
- Three to four (3-4) years' recent, related experience in a complex healthcare environment with progressively more responsible secretarial and administrative positions supporting senior-level management.
- Advanced computer skills in spreadsheet, database, graphics, and word processing programs, including Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
