Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of Commercial Property claims, including Marine and Energy claims, to ensure timely and fair resolution.
  • Evaluate coverage, reserves, and perform detailed claim investigations to document files accurately.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, underwriting, and business partners through effective communication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Adhere to established corporate best practices, claim handling guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Make informed decisions and work independently within assigned authority to contribute to the team's success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience examining Property claims with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Fluency in French is considered an asset, and the ability to travel as needed (5%) is required.
