Skilled Woodworker

At Decor Building Services Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as instruct apprentices. If you have a strong background in carpentry and are looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Instruct apprentices
Requirements:
- Working at heights training
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry
Work Environment:
- On-site work
- Physically demanding work environment
