Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified carpenter to assist with various construction projects, including residential and commercial builds. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Estimating costs and materials required for each project
Benefits
  • A competitive salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience
  • Mileage paid for business-related travel
  • Health care plan and vision care benefits
  • 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 2 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
