Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled chef to join our team and contribute to the success of our food service operation. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cook or in a related role, with a strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, safety regulations, and sanitation procedures. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Oversee the setup of workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Ensure that food is prepared safely and efficiently, using proper utensils and cooking methods
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to achieve menu goals and objectives
Qualifications
  • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • Validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
