About Us

Humber River Health is a leading healthcare provider in North West Toronto, serving a community of 850,000 residents. Our hospital is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are proud to be recognized as a part of Greater Toronto's Top Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to provide services to the Outpatient Hand Clinic. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, a commitment to teamwork, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

As an occupational therapist with Humber River Health, you will work closely with patients who require hand therapy and splinting services. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide one-on-one therapy sessions to help patients achieve their goals.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also supervise rehabilitation assistants, students, and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of care.

You should have at least 1-2 years of experience in hand therapy and splinting, preferably in an acute care setting. Experience treating acute orthopedic hand conditions and working with WSIB patients and billing systems is an asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks, are essential for success in this role.

  • Paid time off and statutory holidays
  • Ongoing education and training opportunities
  • A supportive work environment with a diverse and inclusive team
