Position Overview
Surgical Services at Humber River Health is a leader in regional-based surgical care and practice. The department is comprised of a highly skilled team of surgeons, anaesthesiologists, nurses, advanced practice nurses, and allied health professionals committed to delivering evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Role Summary
The Program Director, Surgical Services provides strategic leadership oversight for the delivery of surgical services portfolio (Pre-Screening, Pre-operative Care, Operating Rooms, Cystoscopy, PACU, SDC, Endoscopy, Surgical Clinics, and Inpatient Care).

Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership oversight for the delivery of surgical services portfolio
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs aligned with corporate goals and objectives
- Collaborate with Chief/Physician Director to set program's strategic direction
- Support and promote best practices within Humber River Health

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related discipline
- Clinical experience in acute services coupled with at least five years management experience working with a medical dyad partner
- Experience in business planning, resource management, program planning, development, evaluation, and managing patient care services
