49 Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Consultant to conduct a comprehensive situation analysis for a national consumer awareness strategy on open banking in Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, business analysis, and marketing strategy, with expertise in banking and finance.

The consultant will be responsible for researching, providing strategic advice, and submitting reports and presentations to the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC).

The key deliverables include a draft report by January 2025 and a final report by March 2025.

The consultant must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or marketing strategy, and a university degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

The candidate must also have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years in providing strategic services, including planning, researching, and developing situation analysis reports to inform strategic decisions.

The consultant will work closely with the FCAC team to deliver high-quality results and meet the project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an environmental scan and comparative analysis of open banking globally.
  • Provide a SWOT analysis and strategic considerations for consumer awareness.
  • Deliver recommendations for a national awareness strategy.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or marketing strategy.
  • University Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Expertise in banking and finance.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years in providing strategic services.
