We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Trisian-Global Consulting LLC in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of high-performance transimpedance amplifiers and optical interface chips.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog circuit design and experience with transistor-level design of integrated circuits. You will be responsible for designing leading-edge transimpedance amplifier designs primarily in Silicon Germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS technology.
Responsibilities- Active circuit design as well as technical leadership.
- Design of hi-performance broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers.
- Design of various other analog circuits including linear regulators, AGC loop, current/voltage sensors, bandgaps etc.
You will work closely with other functional groups to facilitate post-silicon validation, qualification, transition to mass production, and customer support.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's/Ph.D. in EE with relevant experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in IC design, including chip tape-out and lab evaluation of receiver design.
- Experience with EDA CAD tools and performing Analog Custom Layout.
- Strong understanding of device physics, control/feedback loop stability analysis, and detailed transistor level design.
- Experience in CTLE design.
- Package-System integration issues.
- Overseeing and mentoring junior circuit designers.
We offer a competitive salary range between $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
