Critical Role of RF Engineers: We are seeking highly skilled Radio Frequency (RF) engineers to work on critical projects that keep Canada safe. As an RF Engineer, you will collaborate with partners, colleagues, and teams to solve complex technical problems.
Key Responsibilities: This role requires significant experience with RF circuit design, layout, simulation, and testing. You will also need expertise in antenna design and evaluation, as well as experience using common lab equipment to evaluate RF equipment.
Advanced Expertise: Proficiency in Ansys HFSS or equivalent software packages is essential for this role. Additionally, knowledge of software-defined radio systems is highly valued.
Educational Requirements: A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Systems Engineering is required. Alternatively, an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Security Clearance: Top Secret security clearance is mandatory for this position.
Application Process: The selection process includes a security interview, polygraph test, psychological assessment, and background investigation.
Compensation Package: The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, pension plan, and generous paid time off.
