Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist - Equipment Installation and Sales

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Cancomm Contracting Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating costs of installing equipment, promoting sales to existing clients, and assessing client needs to recommend appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs of installing equipment
  • Promote sales to existing clients
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend appropriate goods or services
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Resolve product and service related problems
  • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
