Bar Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Assistant Bar Manager will play a key role in driving the success of our front-of-house team, working closely with the management team to deliver a unique and elevated cocktail and wine program that complements our kitchen's food program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver exceptional customer service and a memorable food and beverage experience.
  • Assist with overseeing the day-to-day front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional standards of professionalism and hospitality.
  • Develop and maintain a strong rapport with staff and guests, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the management team to support the delivery of special projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in the mentorship and support of junior team members, promoting a culture of growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending experience in a premium food and beverage operation.
  • A strong knowledge of cocktail mixology programs and experience in developing a cocktail list.
  • Well-organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, and clientele.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
