Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusive Education Specialist to join our team in Nova Scotia. As a key partner in promoting restorative school-based interventions, you will work closely with government departments, community services, and education stakeholders to ensure the well-being and achievement of all learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inclusive education programs that address barriers to service delivery and promote innovation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, regional centers for education, and CSAP staff to provide professional learning and support.
  • Represent the department on inter-agency committees and working groups focused on child and family wellbeing.
  • Apply principles of equity, diversity, and inclusive practice in all aspects of your work.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive knowledge of inclusive education principles and practices, particularly for students and families who face barriers to participation. You will also possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
