Job Responsibilities
- Examine patients' teeth, periodontium, and surrounding tissues to diagnose and plan treatment.
- Provide comprehensive dental care including direct and indirect restorations, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pedodontics.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
- Prescribe medications and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Supervise dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff.
- Administer Nitrous Oxide and limited sedatives.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program (Canadian or American Dental Institutions) or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process.
- Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements (assistance provided if licensed elsewhere).
- Strong command of English, both written and oral.
- Valid CPR certification.
