We are currently seeking experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare. This opportunity allows you to work in a variety of long term and acute care facilities in the Deep River area.

This role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Responsibilities include providing nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the residents.
  • Additional responsibilities include ensuring timely and accessible admission for residents, ensuring resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe, and ensuring the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics.
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a valid BLS Certificate are required for this role.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases, valid First Aid & CPR, and current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year as well as Hepatitis B are also required.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check and ability to work flexible shift times are essential for this position.
  • Must be able to 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.

Requirements include being able to work with persons with Infectious Diseases, having a BLS Certificate, valid First Aid & CPR, and current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year as well as Hepatitis B.
