We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care in our Deep River-area facility.
About the Role- To deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- To utilize sound nursing practices to ensure excellent patient care in assigned areas.
- Ensure timely and safe admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientations to our services.
- Oversee resident transfers and discharges to ensure smooth transitions.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and ensure protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing long-term care facilities.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
