Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team at 2871605 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various tasks related to vehicle repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation, repair, and maintenance of vehicles
  • Help tradespersons and apprentices with tasks such as moving tools and equipment, cleaning machines, and inspecting repaired vehicles
  • Perform tasks such as filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
Work Environment

Our work site environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a noisy and dusty environment.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Benefits
