Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team at 2871605 Ontario Inc. As an Automotive Mechanic Helper, you will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various tasks related to automotive repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation, repair, and maintenance of vehicles
  • Help tradespersons and apprentices with tasks such as moving tools and equipment, cleaning machines, and inspecting repaired vehicles
  • Perform tasks such as filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
Work Environment

As an Automotive Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a noisy and dusty environment.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and attention to detail
