We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team at 2871605 Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Automotive Mechanic Helper will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in the repair and maintenance of vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive mechanics and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the operation, repair, and maintenance of vehicles
- Help tradespersons and apprentices with tasks such as cleaning machines and work areas, filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Inspect repaired vehicles
- Perform other tasks as directed by tradespersons and supervisors
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and odorous environment
- Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
- Fast-paced environment and attention to detail
- Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
The Automotive Mechanic Helper will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The role requires the ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and odorous environment and to lift heavy loads.
