Job Summary

The Director of Data and Analytics is a business-minded individual responsible for understanding the data needs across the enterprise, building data capabilities, products, and services, and ensuring these data solutions are consumed by the business. This role requires a strong understanding of data compliance and regulation requirements in a corporate context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate with business users to identify use cases where data can deliver business outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data management frameworks, including data architecture, data modeling, and data integration.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors providing data-related technologies and services.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, data science, analytics, or AI.
  • 10+ years of experience in team leadership roles building and leading effective and high-performing technical, software, and engineering teams.
  • Practical experience implementing data products and services, with a strong understanding of the data lifecycle from capture and storage to analytics, reporting, and archiving.
  • Proven track record influencing a diverse set of stakeholders to drive business outcomes out of investments in technology.
