About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Data Governance team at Société Financière Manuvie. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the growth and expansion of our data governance and data quality framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accelerate Data Trust and Utilization: Support the deployment of our data governance agenda globally to drive trust and utilization of data across the organization.
  • Refine Global Data Quality Framework: Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously refine our global data quality framework, developing playbooks, accelerators, and training programs to drive adoption.
  • Improve Data Literacy: Support leaders in data governance roles across the organization to improve their data literacy and familiarity with data governance and data quality practices.
  • Engage with Partners: Engage with partners at various levels of the organization to guide them in identifying critical data elements and setting up metrics linking data quality to business value.
  • Conduct Data Analysis: Conduct hands-on data analysis to address high-priority data quality issues from issue identification through root cause analysis to issue resolution.
  • Implement Data Governance Metrics: Implement global data governance metrics and oversight mechanisms to ensure delivery of target outcomes through the Data Governance program.
  • Support Technology Adoption: In partnership with Technology teams, support adoption of data quality technology in the Azure Cloud environment and for on-prem applications.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Serve as a liaison between the Global Data Governance team and our Segment Data offices, Data Owners, and Control Partners to ensure that data quality requirements are defined, captured, and communicated.
  • Drive Innovation: Apply creative thinking and contribute to innovation in data governance practices at Société Financière Manuvie, monitoring new and existing data governance technologies and bringing meaningful advancements to the leaders' attention.
