The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leader of Operations to support the efficient and effective operation of the Pediatric Day Surgery & Recovery Room and Pre-op Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, collaborating with departmental teams, and providing leadership and guidance to staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care and follow NAPAN standards
  • Collaborate with departmental teams to optimize OR block and waitlist time
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities
  • Anticipate and address staffing needs
  • Support staff scheduling and coordination
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Registered or eligible to be registered with Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years recent Pediatric Perioperative Care Unit experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • CAN Peri-anesthesia Certification preferred
