The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leader Operations to support the efficient and effective operation of our Children's Intensive Service. The successful candidate will assist with the planning, organization, and directing of clinical care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to model professional nursing practice and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning, organization, and directing of clinical care for the Children's Intensive Service.
  • Support the development of an environment that enhances patient care and promotes teamwork.
  • Model professional nursing practice and provide leadership to staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve service goals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Registered, or eligible to be registered, with CRNNS required.
  • Minimum Five (5) years relevant clinical nursing experience required.
  • Current successful completion of CPR Level-C Healthcare Provider or BLS course within the last 12 months required.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention certification required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) model.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and practice required.
  • Sound understanding of, and commitment to family centred care required.
  • Demonstrated time management, communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills required.
