Job Description

To provide high-quality patient care on an acute surgical unit as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualification Requirements

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Recent general and orthopaedic surgical nursing experience.
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of CV lines, PCA pumps, TPN, and IV therapy is an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement care on the acute surgical unit. Provide strong patient-centered care in a dynamic environment. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to drive change and innovation.

Working Conditions
